International Programs Academic Specialist

Position Summary:
1. Assist with coordination, planning, implementation of academic & co-curricular activities for the International Business Track of Mozaiko Living Learning Community (in collaboration with key university and college stakeholders).
2. Assist with coordination, planning, and implementation of international student engagement initiatives at Pamplin , such as
a. Pamplin community-building and guest lecture events
b. Joint programs with Cranwell International Center
c. Intercultural skills development workshops and events
3. Coordinate the development and operation of a cohesive student organization for international student mentors and student ambassadors
4. Assist with academic implementing outbound and inbound student mobility programs:
a. Assist with non-Pamplin student academic reviews for study abroad;
b. Assist with study abroad advising (in-bound and outbound);
c. Assist with the development of international internships;
d. Assist with study abroad program promotion (including social media and presentations);
e. Assist with updates and content development for program web pages.

Required Qualifications:
- Experience with living, studying, working abroad, or with creating such opportunities for students

Preferred Qualifications:
- Completed undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in higher education administration or academic advising (or similar experience in K-12 education)
