Position Summary:
The Department of Chemistry at Virginia Tech invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in any area of chemistry, including analytical, biological, environmental, inorganic, materials, organic, physical, polymer, and theoretical/computational chemistry, with an intended start date of fall 2019. The position is expected to be filled at the assistant professor level, but applicants at all ranks will be considered.
The successful candidate must establish an internationally recognized research program and be an effective teacher in graduate and undergraduate courses.

Required Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field is required; the degree is required at the time of appointment.
