Duties and Responsibilities
Loyola University Chicago School of Communication invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor or a non-tenure track instructor specializing in advertising, with an emphasis on digital communication, pending final approval of funding, to begin August 12, 2019.

Candidates should have a strong background advertising preferably but not exclusively in creative work and ideally would be able to teach courses such as Creative Concepts, Creative Thinking and Problem Solving, Advertising Design, Branding and Positioning, Copywriting, and portfolio courses. Candidates with a record of teaching and working with students are preferred.

Qualifications
For the Assistant Professor (tenure track) appointment, the preferred candidate should have earned the PhD in a related field, have significant professional experience in advertising creative and digital media and have the potential to be an outstanding teacher and productive scholar.

For the non-tenure track Instructor Appointment (renewable multi-year contract), the candidate should have earned a Master s degree in a related field, have significant professional experience in advertising and digital media and the potential to be an outstanding teacher and a leader in service to the profession.
