Duties and Responsibilities
Loyola University Chicago School of Communication invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor or non-tenure track instructor specializing in public relations, with an emphasis on digital communication, pending final approval of funding, to begin August 12, 2019.

Candidates should have strong training and experience in public relations. Candidates with knowledge of planning and executing strategic campaigns and who are experts at using digital tactics, including social/web analytics, are preferred.

Qualifications
For an assistant professor (tenure track) appointment, the candidate should have earned the PhD in a related field, have significant professional experience in public relations and digital media and have the potential to be an outstanding teacher and productive scholar.

For a non-tenure track instructor appointment (renewable multi-year contract), the candidate should have earned a Master s degree in a related field, have significant professional experience in public relations and digital media and the potential to be an outstanding teacher and a leader in service to the profession.

The successful candidate will teach courses in public relations, public relations campaigns, and strategic communication. Starting date for this position is August 2019. The committee will begin reviewing applications fall, 2018. Applications received by October 1 will receive first consideration.
