Job Description:

The Department of Entrepreneurship at Texas Christian University invites applications and nominations for a tenure-track position at the Associate or Full level in Entrepreneurship within the Neeley School of Business. We strongly encourage applicants at both levels. The successful candidate will begin employment in August, 2019.

Description
Candidates should demonstrate significant research and teaching accomplishments in entrepreneurship. Primary responsibilities will include conducting high quality entrepreneurship research, teaching in our undergraduate entrepreneurial management major and MBA emphasis in entrepreneurship, and engaging with the TCU Neeley Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Collegiality and a demonstrated ability to work with others are important at all ranks. The teaching load and salary are competitive and commensurate with qualifications.

Our Department

Faculty enthusiastically engage in research and regularly publish in top journals, with publications in recent years in Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Management, Journal of Business Venturing, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice. Our faculty are editors of top journals in the field, actively involved in the Academy of Management, and serve on editorial boards of the premier journals in business. TCU and the Neeley School of Business
TCU has approximately 10,000 FTE undergraduate and graduate students, with a student to faculty ratio of 13:1 and an average class size of 27. The Neeley School has approximately 2,500 undergraduates enrolled in the Departments of: Accounting; Entrepreneurship; Finance; Management & Leadership; Marketing; and Information Sciences & Supply Chain and 350 graduate students enrolled in the MBA and Masters of Accounting programs. The school's BBA is ranked in the top 25 by Bloomberg Businessweek, with entrepreneurship ranked in the top 10. The Fort Worth and Dallas Metroplex
The Neeley School is located in Fort Worth, Texas, one of the nation's top communities for business growth. The DFW area is the 4th largest metropolitan area in the United States with a combined population of 6.7 million people. Fort Worth boasts five world-class museums, including the Amon Carter, Kimbell and Modern Art Museum. The downtown is vibrant and supports both the Fort Worth Opera and Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. Quality of living is high with great restaurants, local breweries, and Trinity Trails, which offers 40 miles of running or biking trails, equestrian trails for horseback riding, boat launches for canoes, kayaks and sculls, and a water-ski slalom course.

Candidates for the position should possess an earned doctorate in business management or a closely related discipline with an emphasis in entrepreneurship.
