Assistant or Associate Professor of Professional Practice (2018-F081)

Job Description:

Texas Christian University's Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences (HCNHS) invites applications for a 12 month position as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Professional Practice.

Qualifications: Earned doctorate in biostatistics, decision sciences and statistics, psychology, education, or a health sciences field. ABD applications will be considered only for those who will graduate by May, 2019. Must have university teaching experience in statistics and record of diverse research activity in health science/healthcare related topics. This position will serve within the Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences to provide statistical design expertise, faculty derived data analyses for manuscript preparation and presentations, faculty derived grant design support, and development and teaching of intermediate and advanced statistics graduate courses. Additional responsibilities include university and professional service engagement. Experience working with statistical programs such as SAS, SPSS, GraphPad Prism, Structural Equation Modeling software, and others are required. Salary is commensurate with qualifications. Applications received by September 1 will be given priority. The search will continue until filled.
