Assessment and Accreditation Analyst

This position will provide analytical and technical support for the University Assessment Program. Other duties include: independently coordinates the assessment of entering and graduating student cohorts; creates and maintains online assessment instruments and assessment databases, conducts statistical and qualitative analyses, and responds to ad hoc data requests; assists faculty and staff to complete their assessment plans and reports In WEAVEonline; independently manages the University Assessment website.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in social science, education, business or related area. Documented experiences providing data support and analysis to a variety of audiences. Demonstrated experience managing large databases and generating reports; Experience managing data both with statistical packages and programming languages (e.g., SAS , SPSS ) and Microsoft desktop applications (Excel, MS Access, Word, PowerPoint). Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team to reach common goals. Documented effective communication, leadership and collaboration skills. Documented knowledge of assessment theory and practice. Proficiency in SAS or SPSS or similar language. Skills with database, spreadsheet, word processing and presentation software applications.

Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree. Some teaching and/or training skills/experience. Experience working with faculty members. Training in use of computerized statistical packages. Documented experiences providing data support and analysis to a variety of audiences working in an academic context with faculty and administrators. Experience working in an SCT Banner environment. Knowledge of survey development and online software. Knowledge of assessment management software and web development software. Documented understanding of principles of accreditation and data requirements.
