Program Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Program Coordinator provides full-time management, implementation, and operational support of designated programs fundamental to the services of the university. The position interacts with university departments, administrative units, senior leadership, as well as vendors and contractors to provide excellent program management services conducive to the university's vision. Provides administrative support for the Senior Director of HR Initiatives and Partnerships.

Required Qualifications:
- Experience in program administration: resource planning, management of concurrent projects, oversee budgets, create objective timelines, team assembly, and/or issue resolution.
- Create or modify programs to streamline and/or automate processes; designs, strategies, implements and maintains the best methods of practice as well as assess and determine plans for all future needs.
- Experience in design and coordination of events, presentations, and proposals.
- Experience providing administrative support in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge and demonstrated working ability with computer software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, OneDrive, or similar.
- Demonstrated experience with calendaring and meeting coordination.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and working independently in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team atmosphere; demonstrate discretion in working with confidential information and use sound judgment in decision making.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds in a professional manner.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field or equivalent level of training, certifications, and experience.
- Knowledge of university organizations: institutes, colleges, academic departments, programs, administrative offices, policies and procedures.
