Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Business and

Primary teaching responsibilities include introductory courses such as introduction to microeconomics and macroeconomics, as well as upper division courses within the field.

Essential Functions
The teaching load is six courses per year.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Evidence of outstanding teaching or teaching potential is essential.
Candidates should have a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environments for a diverse student body. A PhD is required by September 1, 2019.

Preferred Qualifications
Applicants with scholarly interest in applied economics and College teaching experience are preferred.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
Employee is subject to indoor work, protected from weather conditions. Work is sedentary in nature and involves exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently/constantly in order to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move object.
