We seek candidates with strengths in apparel design and production, product development, fiber and fabric science, and related technologies. Ideal candidates will have interest in developing an active record of federal and industry grants, and industry partnerships, and collaborating with other UD researchers across campus (e.g., engineering, health sciences, and agriculture). FASH is located in the Social Sciences portfolio of the College of Arts & Sciences (www.cas.udel.edu). The department offers undergraduate degrees in fashion merchandising and apparel design, undergraduate minors in fashion management, fashion history and culture, sustainable apparel and textile innovation, a graduate certificate in sustainable apparel business and an MS degree in fashion and apparel studies.
