Duties and Responsibilities
The Department of Biology, College of Arts & Sciences, Loyola University Chicago ( LUC ) seeks a qualified candidate for a newly authorized position beginning in August 2018. The appointment is for one year as Instructor of Biology. The Department of Biology has more than 40 full-time faculty serving more than 1,600 majors and students from associated university programs at the Lake Shore Campus. This is a non-tenure-track, full-time position that involves teaching and coordinating laboratory sections. Teaching responsibilities shall include a 4-4 teaching load.
Qualifications
The successful candidate for this position will have a PhD and proven excellence in teaching at the college level. In addition, the incumbent must be willing to support the mission of LUC and the goals of a Jesuit Catholic Education.
