Duties and Responsibilities
Loyola University Chicago ( LUC ), College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Physics invites applications for one-year non-renewable instructor appointments in the Department of Physics, for Academic Year 2018-2019, beginning August 13, 2018 (two vacancies). The Department of Physics has extensive undergraduate teaching duties in the College of Arts and Sciences, as well as in its own programs for Physics Majors and Minors. Teaching responsibilities shall include a 4-4 teaching load, including courses in introductory physics for non-physics majors and courses in electronics. In addition, the incumbent must be willing to support the mission of LUC and the goals of a Jesuit Catholic Education.

Qualifications
The successful applicants will have the Ph.D. in Physics or a related area, a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and a record of (or clear potential for) undergraduate mentorship.
