Program Enrollment Manager

Position Summary:
The Program Enrollment Manager provides leadership and technical support for the Virginia Cooperative Extension ( VCE ) Event Registration and Management System (Destiny One). The manager collaborates with academic departments, county extension offices, Agricultural Research and Extension Centers, and 4-H Educational Centers to identify program and event registration needs and facilitates the transformation of these needs into online registrations through Destiny One. The manager is responsible for the training of field-based course managers, unit support staff, agents, and faculty in the appropriate use and functionality of the registration system. The manager is expected to develop and maintain expert level knowledge of Destiny One and serve as the liaison with the Destiny service provider. The manager is expected to provide and promote a vision for the use of Destiny and all data-related activities including future incorporation into a CRM system. The manager will develop and regularly provide reports to Extension leadership highlighting program activity, opportunities for business efficiencies, and potential growth areas. The manager is expected to evaluate and champion areas for system improvement and enhancement and work closely with college and university financial teams to ensure fiscal and PCI compliance standards are being met. The manager will be expected to advocate for, and promote the use of Destiny One through presentations, marketing materials, and one-on-one work with faculty, agents, support staff, and administrators. The manager will be expected to work directly with Microsoft SQL server reporting services, the VCE Web Manager for design related activities, and VCE application developers for backend system integrations. The Program Enrollment Manager reports to the Director of Information Technology for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
Specific Responsibilities
- In consultation with the VCE leadership team and enrollment system advisory committee, plan functionality and usability standards, design strategies, and strategic planning for Destiny One.
- Responsible for meeting the enrollment and event registration needs for VCE and departmental stakeholders; designs, strategizes, implements and maintains the best methods of practice as well as assess and determine plans for all future needs.
- Develop and maintain workflows to support enrollment data entry and retrieval as well as enrollment management reports.
- Design, create and implement operational and strategic reports and provide analysis of key reports to various on and off-campus constituents.
- Responsible for the design, development, and on-going sustainability of marketing analysis reports and data flows including future integration with CRM systems.
- Provide regular training to course managers, support staff, and faculty instructors.
- Conduct acceptance testing for new software releases.
- Development and maintain support strategies for registrants, course managers, instructors and software.
- Work closely with the enrollment system advisory committee to communicate and resolve systems challenges.

Required Qualifications:
-Master's degree in related field such as Educational Technology, Data Analytics, or Business Information Systems;
-Significant relative work experience;
-Excellent computer and analytical skills;
-Experience with enrollment management systems, business intelligence tools, reporting tools and/or database management;
-Excellent communications, and interpersonal skills;
-Strong analytical skills demonstrating the ability to quickly understand complex systems, develop work flows and effectively manage data for decision-making best practices;
-Experience with Excel, and SQL queries;
-Demonstrated ability and experience to use technology to solve problems and make continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with Destiny One enrollment system;
-Working knowledge and/or experience with web technologies including CSS .
