Position Description:

Under the supervision of the Dean, School of Continuing and Community Education, performs a variety of logistical, operational, and accounting tasks for the School. Prepares budget reports and performs account reconciliations, analysis, and adjustments. Supports the School with a variety of clerical and administrative responsibilities, including logistics and documentation for meetings. Provides work direction to assigned personnel.  Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Requirements: 

 

Experience:

Two (2) years of full-time administrative support experience, including experience with financial record management and reporting. Requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Accounting, financial record monitoring, and reporting as well as administrative support experience with budgets in an educational institution or public sector, or other governmental agency is desirable.

 

Education:

Education equivalent to an Associate’s degree (60 semester units).  Two additional years of administrative or financial record management experience in addition to that identified above may be substituted for each year (30 semester units) of the educational requirement.
