Human Services - Assistant or Associate Professor

The Counseling & Human Services Assistant/Associate Professor would be responsible for active research related to the field of Human Services, which includes publishing in peer review national/international journals, and evidence of seeking external grant funding. Additional responsibilities include, teaching undergraduate human services courses; involvement in advising students; providing leadership and service in the human services program; and participating in community and professional service at the state, regional, and/or national levels.

Minimum Qualifications - knowledge, skills, and abilities
Demonstrated professional identity in Human Services.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Demonstrated scholarship through peer-reviewed publications and professional presentations.
Demonstrated skill in college teaching at the undergraduate level.

Minimum Qualifications - Education or training
Earned doctorate in a Human Services related field by May 15th, 2019

Minimum Qualifications - Special licenses, registration or certification

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in curriculum development.
Experience and expertise in research methodology.
Potential to secure external grant funding.
Commitment to program leadership and collaborative decision-making.
