Job Description Summary

The Department of Psychology at Auburn University invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant or Associate Professor beginning Fall semester, 2019.

Responsibilities: Candidates will teach in the Cognitive and Behavioral Sciences program and participate in the Applied Behavior Analysis specialization, supervise graduate students pursuing certification, maintain active research productivity, seek extramural funding, and serve on graduate committees.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates should have an independent research program in Behavior Analysis with specialization in translational behavior-analytic research. Candidates must have a doctorate in Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or a related area.

Minimum qualifications include evidence of research productivity, potential for securing extramural funding (assistant) or a record of extramural funding (associate), successful experience in university-level teaching and/or supervision of practicum students in applied settings.

Desired Qualifications

Desired qualifications include the BACB -D credential or eligibility for that credential and a translational research focus complementing one or more of the research lines of existing departmental faculty.
