Brief Summary:

The Head Coach is responsible for overseeing all operations of the Marist College Ultimate Frisbee Club and supervises the members of the Club. This position reports to the Coordinator of Club Sports, Intramurals and Summer Camps and Senior Associate Athletic Director and works closely with the Student Government Association and Office of College Activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversees all aspects of the Ultimate Frisbee Club
• Attend the College's annual Open House and Activities Fair to engage potential members
• Organize, attend and supervise all practices
• Travel with the club to all competitions and supervise team activities
• Assist student leadership in making decisions about club operations
• Supervise team tryouts
• Track club members' priority points
• Order supplies as necessary
• Requires evenings, weekends and some travel
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree is required. Previous successful experience as a ultimate Frisbee player or coach is preferred. Must be a member of USA Ultimate. Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with other coaches, staff and student leadership. Must be Adult CPR and AED certified. Valid state driver's license is necessary.
