Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati is seeking an academic physician at the Assistant Professor level. The candidate is expected to continue to advance the clinical program of excellence in Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine. In addition, the candidate will help lead clinically focused research and teaching of blood banking and transfusion medicine. The position interacts with the Medical and Research Division Directors of Hoxworth Blood Center. The selected candidate will work in an environment of respectful, constructive and collaborative style, guided by local, state and national regulations and the objectives of the Hoxworth Blood Center and the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine. The position provides consultations for medical assistance and the counselling of innovative approaches to hematotherapies.

Minimum Qualifications: MD or MD/PhD, board certified or eligible in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine.
