Position Summary:
Only current Virginia Tech students should apply to this pool. Students of other high schools and colleges are encouraged to apply for the Dining Services Wage Pool.
Dining Services Student Staff provide food service to customers of the university dining centers with a high level of customer satisfaction. Ensures a clean, safe and sanitary environment for employees and customers. Shifts vary by position and dining center and may include early morning, day, evening, night, and weekend hours.Positions in the following areas are frequently available: cashiering, serving, food prep, kitchen staff, dish/pot-wash, housekeeping and Catering. Student Management opportunities exist for qualified applicants.

Required Qualifications:
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Virginia Tech Student with at least 6 credit hours at time of hire.
Able to work days, evenings, weekends and some holidays and football games as needed.
