Admissions Counselor, Adult and Graduate Programs, Rochester

The Enrollment Management Division at Medaille College has an opportunity for an Admissions Counselor to join the Adult and Graduate Admissions leadership team. The Admissions Counselor is responsible for recruiting new students in a positive and professional manner in accordance with the College's ongoing enrollment strategy. This role relies heavily on building relationships with prospective students to help them through the enrollment process. Admissions representatives evaluate a prospective student's needs, goals and career outcomes to identify if Medaille College has the appropriate academic program, environment and services for the individual. Must have knowledge of the strategic use of financial aid to leverage enrollment and as well as expertise with social media and trends. The position involves travel, day and evening, plus occasional weekend hours. The applicant should have access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in Admissions or Private Higher Education. The applicant must possess strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
