This position is responsible for working with the schools and Budget Center to develop the University s annual and multi-year capital plan and monitoring spending against the plan. The Senior Analyst will support the capital expenditure authorization (CEA) process and reserve analysis. This position will develop school debt budgets; provide Treasury assistance with new debt issues and support debt compliance and the University s credit rating databases. This position, with the other Senior Analysts, will provide analysis for interdisciplinary strategic plans and business development initiatives, specialized peer analyses, ratios and other metrics, support the long-range planning model, and cross-train/support the other senior analysts with work related to analysis and budgeting. Manages key relationships with school administrative officers, the Budget Center, Operations Division, the Provost Office, and other customers.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- 5 years experience with accounting and financial analysis.
- Demonstrated experience working with senior staff across an organization.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong skills with Excel and other budgeting and reporting tools.
- Higher education experience.
- Experience with information and financial systems.
