Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems

The Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware invites applications for a continuing-track (non-tenure) position in Management Information Systems at the Assistant Professor level to begin Fall 2019. Successful candidates will demonstrate the drive and vision to develop an innovative, cutting-edge instructional program and to be research active. Candidates will teach applied statistics and data analytics and must be committed to excellence in undergraduate education.

Candidates are further expected to contribute to the research environment, generate scholarly publications, and maintain scholarly academic status under AACSB accreditation standards. The Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems offers bachelors' and masters' degrees in accounting and in management Information systems and several joint degrees, partnering with both the College of Engineering and the College's MBA programs. Qualifications
The position requires the candidate to possess or expect to complete a Ph.D. in Information Systems, Statistics, or related field. Successful candidates will demonstrate the drive and vision to develop an innovative, cutting-edge instructional program and to be research active. In addition to a Ph.D., prior experience in data analytics is desirable.
