We are looking for a Senior Change Management Lead to oversee and direct the change required to enable to the successful deployment and adoption of Simmons' new Student Information System (Workday Student). Reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications, you will lead the transformational, university-wide changes in business processes, structure, staff roles and responsibilities while ensuring the long-term engagement of key stakeholders. This is a 24-month term position.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and validate the scope and impact of the required change utilizing a clear methodology
  • Develop and implement an integrated change management strategy and plan
  • Leverage expertise and best practices to develop clear, compelling and creative change communications and training materials
  • Manage and deliver regular communication to key stakeholders
  • Develop and track effective system change adoption metrics
  • Champion innovative and creative ideas to help drive change
  • Identify training needs and develop training plans
  • Develop, deliver and/or direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise changes in instructional objectives and methods
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 8+ years of experience in operational or consulting roles supporting system and business process transformation change initiatives with multiple deliverables
  • Experience managing change related to enterprise-wide system deployments
  • Proven ability to identify and translate requirements for change management into clear and measurable work products
  • Excellent engagement, relationship building, and expectation management skills with stakeholders of all organizational levels across a diverse and global environment
  • Familiarity with current change management tools and techniques, including digital media, and how to use them in an integrated, strategic and creative way
  • Experience with measuring change adoption effectiveness
  • Highly motivated individual who can follow through and work with minimal direction or supervision
  • Experience implementing student information systems a plus
  • Experience with Workday, especially Workday Student a plus
  • Experience in a higher education environment preferred but not required
  • Change management practitioner certification, e.g., Prosci-certification a plus
