Inventory Control and Mailroom Coordinator

Coordinates the daily mailing of admission and recruitment communications. Ensures that all outgoing print communications are distributed in a timely manner and that materials are available for mailings as required. Implements and administers inventory control methods to maintain appropriate supplies of all printed recruitment communications materials. Develops and maintains records of admission recruitment materials used by internal and external cross-functional groups. Conducts inventory audits on a scheduled basis. Develops and maintains a systematic process of disposing of obsolete inventory.

Knowledge, skills and abilities
Working knowledge of office practices and procedures. Some knowledge of postage and shipping procedures, basic supply/inventory control practices, procedures, and systems. Some knowledge of database software. Some skill in the operation of mailing equipment such as folding machines and/or inserters. Effective oral and written communication skills with an attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to apply effective customer service and problem-resolution techniques when serving diverse customers. Demonstrated ability to produce documents using PC-based software such as the Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.

Level and type of experience
Considerable office/reception experience. Some customer service experience.

Preferred knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, licensure, certification
Associate degree preferred. Considerable demonstrated ability to work independently and follow established office procedures. Demonstrated ability to manage detailed oriented processes. Some experience in higher education. Working knowledge of University preferred.
