Brief Summary:
Marist College invites applications and nominations for the position of Visiting Assistant/Associate Professor of Public Administration to join the School of Management beginning fall 2018. The School of Management will be receiving applications immediately for the position as a Visiting Professor for the 2018-2019 academic year, and will be receiving ongoing applications for the tenure track position for the academic year 2019-2020.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This one-year term position will involve teaching primarily graduate courses (including online courses) in the Master of Public Administration Program and maintaining a high level of professional activity through research and service in the candidate's area of emphasis.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a commitment to excellence in teaching, research and should have a Ph.D. degree in Public Administration or a related discipline. The ideal candidate will have training and experience in teaching courses in public budgeting, human resource management, and foundations/introductory courses in Public Administration. Previous professional experience as a practitioner is highly desirable.
