Senior Market Research Analyst

This position is primarily responsible for researching market conditions, competitors, and trends over time to provide support for the development of continuous improvement plans regarding marketing, program development, and market expansion. This position also provides primary data support to the Planning and Development unit within the Office of Distance Learning in support of the organizations strategic goals and the University's enrollment management effort. This position will be responsible for developing and managing large datasets to support research, analyses, reports and payment processes conducted and developed by the Planning and Development unit of Distance Learning.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree (in market research, statistics, or a related field) or a bachelor's degree (in computer science, market research, statistics, or related fields) with considerable experience. Experience with various analytics/statistical software/platforms (e.g., SAS , SPSS , Google Analytics). Experience with research methods and statistical sampling practices. Experience with relational database concepts, structures and queries. Experience with spreadsheet design for data management, extraction and manipulation to include to building complex queries, reports and pivot tables utilizing MS Access and Excel. Experience planning and managing various research projects. Strong technical skills. Problem solver, with the initiative and skills to identify/acquire the appropriate data and distill it down to actionable information. Strong attention to details and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and oral presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other researchers, marketers, etc. in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a marketing environment. Experience with market research.
