Duties and Responsibilities
Administration and Supervision: The School of Education ( SOE ) at Loyola University Chicago invites applications for one-year, full-time, non-tenure track position in the Administration and Supervision program. The selected individual will join the faculty in the SOE s CAEP - accredited undergraduate and graduate programs, all of which are shaped around the SOE s conceptual framework of advancing professionalism in the service of social justice.

The Administration and Supervision program is engaged in innovative, field-based experiences to prepare principal and teacher leaders for leadership in Illinois public and Catholic schools. The selected individual will teach graduate-level courses in administration and supervision of P-12 schools at our Loyola Water Tower campus. Program courses to be taught include educational leadership in mission driven schools, data informed instruction, diversity in schools, etc.

In addition to teaching courses, the successful candidate will assist with reviewing admission applications, communicating program expectations, responding to prospective student requests/inquiries, and monitoring student progression through the program. Finally, the selected candidate will advise students, supervise graduate student research (Ed.D. students only); and engage in service to the Andrew M. Greeley Center, SOE , university, and profession.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Earned doctorate in Leadership or similar discipline
5+ years of experience as a Catholic School Principal
Illinois Professional Educators License with Principal Endorsement (or out-of-state equivalent)
Experience teaching graduate level courses

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supervising principal interns
Completion of the Danielson Growth for Learning modules
5+ years of experience working at a district or diocesan administrative level
