ePortfolio Support Coordinator

The ePortfolio Support Coordinator will assist the Associate Director of ePortfolios and Digital Initiatives in creating, maintaining, and improving the infrastructure for supporting and expanding ePortfolio use at ODU , with a particular, but not exclusive, focus on student support.

Knowledge, skills and abilities
This position requires knowledge and demonstrated use of digital technology for education (such as Blackboard, Google Drive, Wix, Wordpress, so on), pedagogy, mentoring/tutoring, and collaboration.
Some knowledge of best practices in assessment. Considerable ability to troubleshoot technological and other problems. Considerable interpersonal skills in order to interact with diverse constituents and to provide high quality support and high levels of customer service to faculty, students, and administrators.

Education or training
None

Level and type of experience
Considerable experience with digital media.
Some experience with Google Sites, Google Drive, WordPress, Blackboard (as an instructor/team leader), Wix or related platforms. Some experience and success in training or teaching. Some experience in designing, implementing, and assessing ePortfolios or print portfolios.

Preferred knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, licensure, certification
Some research skills and experience with grant-writing. Some experience with project management and/or team supervision.
Some Writing Center or other tutoring service experience, especially in an administrative/management role.
Bachelor's Degree or higher. Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Instructional Design & Technology, English Studies, Educational Technology, or related fields.
