Summary of Position Teach Graphic Communications and Graphic Media Management courses such as Print Media Estimating, Job Planning, Basic Production, and materials such as paper, ink, toner, coatings and adhesives. The candidate must be able to teach multiple subject areas within the Graphic Media Management curriculum. Responsibilities include holding office hours; deliver instruction through face-to-face, blended and/or online through Blackboard; assuring learning meets published outcomes for the course; assuring/improving learning through assessment; close consultation with program faculty as well as training via the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis.

Required Qualifications

Required Education Bachelor Degree in Printing Management or related field. Must have 18 in-field course credits.

Required Work Experience Minimum of three years in Printing related field.

Required Licenses and Certifications

Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered

Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered Master's degree preferred. Minimum of three years in production management; master of the concepts of job planning, estimating, and material selection; Knowledge of basic print production equipment such as offset press, folder cutter inkjet printer and tone based digital press; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
