Office Assistant for Executive Vice President (Temporary)


Brief Summary:

Perform a wide variety of administrative duties to support the operation of the Office of the Executive Vice President, including research, writing, and the completion of special projects. This is a highly confidential position requiring extreme tact, sensitivity, and finely developed human relations skills.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Produce written material to support the executive administration, compose drafts and edit written material as needed
  • Plan and coordinate meetings and events; provide related scheduling and logistical support
  • Provide staffing to the Executive Vice President in support of committees and working groups
  • Coordinate information and facilitate communication among the unit departments, administrators, and staff
  • Collaborate as appropriate to gather information, answer questions, and complete tasks across a variety of departments
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and compose briefs, reports, and presentations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Vice President


Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and three years of relevant work experience are required, Master's Degree preferred. Exceptional writing and presentation skills, as well as excellent Microsoft Office Suite and computer skills are necessary. Facility with other software suites, including Adobe, Wordpress, and other software packages preferred. Paralegal training and/or certificate also preferred.
