Job Opening ID (JOID): 24295 Rank: Assistant Professor, Tenure-track Qualifications: Earned doctoral degree in public relations, mass communications, or closely related field by the position start date. Applicants must have a demonstrated understanding of how public relations helps organizations achieve their missions through the principled application of public relations strategies and tactics. The ideal candidate will have teaching and professional experience, a strong research agenda, and the ability to advance the school's public relations curriculum in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to the educational goals of a multicultural population evidenced by cross-cultural study, training, teaching, and other comparable experience.

Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate skills and conceptual courses in writing (both "earned" and "owned" media), public relations case studies, campaigns, research, data analytics, and other integrated marketing communication courses. Knowledge of/experience in high-tech, health, crisis, and global strategic communication is a plus. Serve on school, college, and university committees.
Salary Range:
