Special Instructions to Applicant:
Auburn University at Montgomery announces a tenure-track appointment in Exercise Science at an open rank beginning spring 2019/fall 2019. This is a full-time, nine month position with potential for summer teaching. Candidates must possess a Ph.D./Ed.D. in exercise science or a closely related field. Individuals, who are in ABD status, will be considered at the Instructor level and should have a set completion date for their Ph.D./Ed.D. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate exercise science courses, providing service to the university, grant writing and securing external funding, and the ability to manage and conduct research in the Human Performance Laboratory.

Preferred Qualifications:
• University teaching and/or industry experience
• Experience managing a lab
• Appropriate certifications in line with exercise science and strength and conditioning (i.e. ACSM or NSCA)
• Ability to teach a wide variety of departmental courses as needed
• Ability to guide student research
• Those seeking associate or full professor rank must have demonstrated grant writing ability
