Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides assistance with the development and monitoring of the units budget.

Supervises and coordinates the selection, training, and development of part-time employees.

Responds to inquiries about the department and provides information or directs to the appropriate source.

Represents the department at meetings, functions, or other activities.

Assumes the duties of the Director in his or her absence.

Prepares correspondence, reports, or other documentation.

Advises the Student Government Association (SGA) and Campus Activities Board (CAB) in fulfillment of responsibilities.

Provides oversight and direction in the implementation of signature programs out of SILP area.

Develops and maintain programs and efforts to support scholastic excellence within SGA, CAB and AUM Clubs and Organziations

Assists with Oversight of clubs and organizations with the implementation of activities, events, policy and procedures

Assist in the promotion and coordination of late night and weekend programming activities.

Coordinates annual events such as AUMfest, Shriek Week, Spring Fest and the SILP Excellence Awards to include campus signature programs.

A Bachelor's degree is required. Five (5) years of experience in collegiate student activities is required. Additional education in related field may be substituted for experience.
