Asst Director of Prospect Development & Analytics

Albion College invites application for the Assistant Director of Prospect Development and Analytics.  The Assistant Director of Prospect Development & Analytics will work closely with the Senior Director of Advancement Operations to identify and qualify promising prospects for Albion College. Primary responsibilities are to gather, organize, analyze and report biographical and financial information as well as philanthropic interests on known and potential prospects. The Assistant Director should have a demonstrated expertise and interest in analytical prospecting and the ability to manipulate and utilize complex data. Through predictive modeling, this position will play a critical role in creating and analyzing targeted prospect lists to build a more strategic prospect evaluation process Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload with sensitivity and confidentiality. Must exhibit an appreciation of, a sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse environment, inclusive of students, faculty and staff of many social, economic, cultural, ideological, racial and ethnic backgrounds.

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Two years related experience required
  • Two or more years of practical experience preferred (i.e. donor research, analytics, and a platform used for event marketing, registration, and alumni directory such as iModules)
  • One or more years of experience in alumni relations/development/advancement in higher education administration is highly preferred
