Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

Reporting to the Assistant Dean for External Relations in the Clark School, the Program Director, A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation Building Together Programs will be responsible for monitoring ten newly Clark-funded programs for compliance. Working closely with deans, assistant deans and directors, the Program Director will analyze program reports and provide guidance and recommendations to enhance programs results. Working closely with staff from the Clark School, Admissions and Financial Aid, and University leadership, the Director ensures robust and informed communications with the donor and ensures that all reporting is done according to donor specifications and in a timely manner.

This position may be required to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education (include licenses, certifications, etc.):
Bachelor's degree.

Experience:
A minimum of seven years of demonstrated university program development/management experience in relation to the following areas financial aid, admissions, faculty recruiting, graduate and doctoral programs or related.

Experience assessing data and producing complex reports for programming and operational and strategic planning goals.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong Microsoft Office and presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work well with diverse groups of constituents and colleagues.
Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational and financial management skills.
Excellent writing and presentation skills.
Must be an energetic self-starter and a team player.
Must be highly professional and positive demeanor.
Ability to protect the confidentiality of information.
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Preferences:

Knowledge of the University of Maryland College Park.
Familiarity with donor databases.
