The Adelphi University Department of English seeks a creative writer to serve as a Visiting Assistant Professor for the academic year 2018-19. We are looking for a writer in any genre who has published Young Adult literature and, in addition to teaching writing and contemporary literature, can teach children's literature and writing for children at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Teaching experience required; course load is 18 credits (3-3) for the academic year including appropriate departmental responsibilities.
