Position Summary:
To provide student dietary consultations and provide nutrition education materials and information to students and staff at the Schiffert Health Center.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor or higher degree in the field of dietetics, nutrition, or nutrition education. Demonstrated excellence in nutritional counseling and education. Registered Dietitian (R.D.) designation from an accredited program. Current registration by the American Dietetic Association ( ADA ). Demonstrated practical experience as a Registered Dietitian. Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal communication skills with individual clients as well as large groups. Previous experience providing dietary assessments and consultations. Demonstrated ability to create and maintain medical records. Previous experience providing nutrition education to clients. Previous experience developing training and educational materials. Previous experience presenting training to groups / individuals on nutritional issues.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in the field of nutrition in a higher educational health setting.
