Position Summary:
The Executive Director will be responsible for leading a rebirth of the Center for Business Intelligence and Analytics as it enters a new phase of growth and expansion, contributing more broadly and boldly to this critical university initiative by generating 3-5X growth in center programming, resources and value creation. The Executive Director will be responsible for working with key university resources, including the Data and Decisions Destination Area and the University's new center for business engagement, LINK . The Executive Director will be responsible for engaging external stakeholders to help secure resources and avenues of funding to help build center capability and support ongoing programming growth to enhance value creation. This position reports to the Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Affairs.

Required Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of analytics best practices, market trends, drivers and key technologies
• Experience in industry outreach and collaboration with corporations, non-profit and/or public sector entities
• Strong program development, execution and growth experience
• Supervisory and team development experience
• Strong communications skills; excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion
• Leadership experience appropriate to a senior leadership role
• Master's degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:
• Industry experience in data and advanced analytics solutions; developing analytics strategy
• Program, product or solution development experience in analytics or related disciplines
• Strategic planning and visioning experience
• Experience achieving significant program outcomes in commercial, non-profit, volunteer or educational environments
• Broad network of contacts in data analytics in industry and/or government
• Experience creating, developing and engaging an advisory board
• Experience in fundraising and/or resource procurement in support of new programs
• Demonstrated experiencing driving a culture of innovation by challenging the status quo and pushing boundaries; fosters a supportive environment for taking calculated risks
• Demonstrated ability to manage risk and deal with ambiguity effectively
• Ability to assess and identify resources-expertise, processes and tools-required to meet business needs
