Job Description
The Undergraduate Research Assistant works closely with the Research Mentor on research projects. The primary focus of this position is academic and the student will gain research and professional development experience.
Required Qualifications
Enrolled as an undergraduate student at Florida Gulf Coast University during time of hire and work period. Must have a strong interest in engaging in undergraduate research with a faculty research mentor. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and iOs and/or Android. Experience working independently and in a team environment. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work comfortably with all individuals in a diverse multicultural environment. The ability to work flexible hours on days, nights, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience related to faculty research mentor's discipline.
