Duties and Responsibilities
Providing day-to-day oversight for the LUC Leadership Assessment Center. This includes arranging for students to be assessed, organizing the participation of assessors, overseeing the assessment process, assembling the assessments and communicating those to students, processing payments to assessors, and arranging for the posting of credits to student s transcripts. Additional duties may include some combination of teaching courses in the leadership program, some teaching of School requirements ( CPST 200 Introduction to Degree Completion, CPST 201 Professional Identity and Development, and CPST 397 Capstone) and/or other courses as assigned. Mentoring students and assisting with curriculum, program, and faculty development is part of this job.
Qualifications
Academic and Professional Qualifications include a minimum of an earned master s degree, doctorate strongly preferred. It is desirable to have a background in assessment practices. Appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor is contingent on completed doctorate. Criteria for this hire: Experience with assessment practices, strong organizational and collaboration skills, excellence in teaching adults, experience helping develop adult learning programs, experience teaching online, ability to use technology in the classroom, and a willingness to serve the university, profession, and community.
