Assistant Professor, Inorganic Chemistry

The Department of Physical Sciences at Lander University, a public comprehensive university in the Upstate region of South Carolina, is poised to hire a tenure-track assistant professor effective August 2018 with an emphasis in organometallic chemistry.

Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate general chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, and chemistry laboratories.  The ideal candidate will be focused on student-centered learning and innovative teaching practices and be prepared to develop and direct an undergraduate research program.

Minimum qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry or a related field and demonstrate aptitude for teaching inorganic chemistry at the college level.
