Coordinator, Program Assessment

Job Description
The Coordinator of Program Assessment utilizes strong data collection and analytic skills, expertise in program evaluation, and knowledge of accreditation to help the University build and maintain a strong data infrastructure to support data-informed decision making. This position will work closely with the Associate Dean, Accreditation Coordinator, other University administrators, faculty, and support staff to identify data needs, organize and facilitate data collection activities, analyze data, and present data in a manner useful and effective in supporting of continuous program improvement, program review, and accreditation preparation.

Required Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited institution in Education, Educational Leadership, Statistics, Data Sciences, Management Information Systems, or closely related field.
Three years of professional full-time experience in assessment, evaluation, measurement, and data management in higher education.
Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
Experience using Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, MySQL, SPSS , SAS , or other statistical analysis packages.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with combining/merging data and data analysis using recognized data tools such as the Internet, Cognos, Banner, and LiveText.
Experience developing assessment tools for program improvements and accreditation at the state and national levels.
Experience with consulting on data analysis and report writing.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated knowledge of web applications, programming, database management, and statistical analysis.
Knowledge of research design, survey design, and administration.
Knowledge of state and national accreditation agencies and standards within higher education.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects within deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively and build strategic relations with colleagues, coworkers, and education partners.
Ability to think critically and creatively, have a high standard of integrity, and be motivated to incorporate best practices into the organizational structure.
Ability to collect, analyze, organize and present complex data in a meaningful manner.
Ability to take initiative to plan, organize, coordinate and perform work in various situations when numerous and diverse demands are involved.
Ability to develop and deliver training presentations and programs on data and statistical analysis tools.
Ability to maintain accurate and precise records.

Salary Range
$60,000 - $65,000

Job Duties

Essential Job Duties
•Develops and/or verifies data from various sources for Florida Department of Education, FGCU , and other accrediting bodies.
•Manages the daily technical operations and implementation of LiveText and other databases.
•Conducts surveys and analyses in conjunction with various accrediting bodies associated with the College of Education.
•Communicates complex assessment data in clear, actionable ways to program leadership.
•Supports the assessment work conducted by faculty in all programs.
•Provides support and guidance to department Administration and other employees to help conceptualize, design, administer, analyze, and present results of quantitative and qualitative assessment.
•Compiles and disseminates data analysis to faculty and staff for program reporting, grant proposals, or research.
•Conducts workshops to train faculty and staff with LiveText.
