Duties and Responsibilities
The School of Education ( SOE ) at Loyola University Chicago invites applications for a 3-year renewable, full-time, non-tenure track position in the School Psychology programs. The School Psychology graduate programs at Loyola University Chicago are long-standing, well-established and have strong presence in the greater Chicago area and nationally. The selected individual will join faculty in the SOE s CAEP -accredited undergraduate and graduate programs, all of which are shaped around the SOE s conceptual framework of advancing professionalism in the service of social justice.

The selected individual will have a 4/3 teaching load, which will include teaching graduate courses in the NASP -approved EdS program, APA -accredited PhD program, and/or EdD program designed for practicing school psychologists. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the selected individual will also assist with the coordination of the EdD program in school psychology. The coordination duties will include reviewing admission applications, communicating program expectations and requirements to students, responding to prospective student requests/inquiries, and monitoring student progression through the program. Finally, the selected candidate will advise students, supervise graduate student research (EdD students only); and engage in service to the programs, SOE , university, and profession.

Qualifications
Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in assessment, prevention, intervention, and individual and systems-level consultation and collaboration within an MTSS framework as well as a foundational understanding of social science research. Candidates will also demonstrate a strong interest in urban education and dedication to serving a diverse student body consistent with Loyola University Chicago s commitment to advancing social justice through transformative education. Candidates will demonstrate a commitment to collegiality and collaboration within the School Psychology programs and larger SOE and University community.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Earned doctorate in School Psychology
2. Licensed school psychologist in Illinois

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Licensed psychologist in Illinois
2. 5+ years of experience as a practicing school psychologist
3. Experience supervising school psychology practicum students and/or interns in schools.
