Position Description:

Under the supervision of the Dean, International Affairs & Global Engagement, the Director for the International Services & Programs Department provides administrative supervision and oversight to meet the International Services and Programs’ Strategic Goals. Primary responsibilities will be office operations, recruitment, enrollment, retention, and digital personality management. Manages complex tasks, including regulatory compliance and contractual agreements with vendors, academic institutions, and international partners. Pursues relevant grants as directed by the Dean. Acts as a designated school official (DSO) for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for the District. Manages, coordinates, develops, and executes a variety of projects, responsibilities, and duties related to the ISP department. Extensive travel, including international travel, and flexible hours are required. Performs other related duties as assigned. 

 

Minimum Requirements: 

Experience:

Three (3) years full-time increasingly responsible administrative experience working in an educational or public institution, or related experience. Experience working with large projects and the public is required. 

 

Education:

Master’s degree from a US accredited college or university.
