Assistant Professor of Teaching and Learning

Assistant Professor of Teaching and Learning

Position: Tenure-track, nine-month assistant professor position beginning in August 2018.

Qualifications: Earned doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction, Teaching & Learning, or closely related field. Candidates should have experience at the university level as well as at least 3 years public school classroom experience (grades Pre-K – 12) and demonstrate potential for scholarly productivity. Prefer strong knowledge base or experience in teaching diverse learners, instructional technology, Montessori, literacy, or STEAM areas; university teaching/supervision helpful.

Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate/graduate education courses, mentor candidates in field –based settings, advise students, engage in scholarly activities and provide service to the University and Greenwood communities.
