The primary focus of this position is to work with the Assistant Vice President to collaborate with the Colleges to provide ongoing support for programs offered via technology; to collaborate with Planning and Development staff to maintain accurate information and communications regarding program details; to develop and communicate policies and processes specific to distance learning; to provide oversight for student success and retention activities within the ODU Online advising team.

Master's degree in counseling, higher education, or student affairs. Extensive experience in higher education involving academic advising and student success. Demonstrated ability to problem solve. Excellent communications and public relations skills. Demonstrated ability to work in multi-office environment. Excellent computer skills. Demonstrated ability to independently coordinate higher education activities. Demonstrated experience with student retention initiatives.
