Brief Summary:
Reporting to the Dean of International Programs, the Assistant Director will help to provide leadership in study abroad coordination and post-education abroad programming; contribute to ongoing review of policy and procedure; generation of enrollment data and other reporting; supervision of the study abroad fair and other campus activities; spearheading of alumni initiatives; and supervision of student employees. Travel requirement includes: four international trips per year, one week each and one domestic trip per year, one week in duration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordination of particular education abroad programs by reviewing applications; design and delivery of pre-departure programs; supporting students abroad; grade processing; affiliate relations; and preparation and submission of program invoices.
- Supervision of post-education abroad and alumni programs and activities including re-entry programs; the mentor program; and alumni activities on campus and in the Hudson Valley.
- Ongoing review and revision of education abroad policy and procedure.
- Generation of assessment and enrollment data, analysis, and reporting for Open Doors surveys and Middle States.
- Supervision of student employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education/Business/Psychology/Liberal Arts along with 5-8 years of relevant experience required, Master's preferred.
