Administrative Assistant

Position Summary:
The position reports to the Special Assistant to the Vice President and serves as an Administrative Assistant for the office of the Vice President for Operations (VP Ops). The position's chief objective is to assist the Special Assistant by providing staff support for general office functions and special projects, including all incoming and outgoing materials and phone calls for the Vice President.

Required Qualifications:
- Experience providing administrative support to executives or senior level managers.
- Experience independently drafting and editing correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Experience that demonstrates professional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse clientele.
- Experience arranging logistics for meetings, events, and/or programs.
- Demonstrated proficiency with current office computer software, including word processing, calendaring, and spreadsheets.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently; excellent organizational skills; and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a university setting.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with knowledge of computer applications for data analysis and report development.
