Adjunct Asst. Professor, Anatomy & Physiology

The Biology Department at Bucknell University invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Assistant Professor position to begin August 2018. We seek an individual with the skills necessary to teach courses in Human Anatomy (fall semester) and Human Physiology (spring semester). Each course will consist of 3 hours/week of lecture together with two contiguous 2-hour lab sections per week. These courses are designed primarily for undergraduate students destined for careers in health-related disciplines. This position requires a commitment to undergraduate teaching and an equally strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and student-centered pedagogical approaches. Applicants must have a relevant terminal degree in Biology or in an appropriate health-related discipline, along with relevant teaching experience or a demonstrated commitment to effective teaching.
