Senior Director, Compliance/Financial Aid

Position Summary:
The position of Senior Director, Compliance / Financial Aid is a valuable member of the team that implements and manages the university's comprehensive athletics compliance program, working directly with coaches, student-athletes, and administrators. This position reports to the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Compliance and Governance, and will be responsible for helping to ensure and monitor compliance with NCAA , ACC , and Virginia Tech regulations for 22 Division 1 sports.

Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree
-Working knowledge and understanding of financial aid regulations (University / NCAA ).
-Proficiency with personal computer applications and comfortable with various computer programs (i.e. Microsoft Office, BANNER (or similar system, JumpForward, CAi, LSDBi).
-Be able to work in a team environment and be a self-motivated staff member.
-Must be able to travel occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Master's degree with experience preferred.
-Experience in the area of athletics compliance at an NCAA Division I Autonomy Five institution or Division I institution providing Cost of Attendance.
-Experience with broad range of NCAA Compliance Bylaws.
